Restaurant-Style Salsa

This super fresh salsa is the perfect party appetizer and is ready to serve in just 10 minutes. Using fresh, whole ingredients with absolutely no preservatives, this salsa is sure to satisfy your family or party guests. To bump up the spice, leave in the jalapeño's seeds and membranes.


1 pound of fresh tomatoes

1 10-ounce can of diced tomatoes with green chiles

3 cloves of garlic, crushed

1/2 of a red onion, roughly chopped

1 jalapeño, deseeded and membranes removed

1/2 tablespoon of honey 

1/2 cup of cilantro

1/4 teaspoon of salt

Juice from half of a lime


1. Add the red onion, jalapeño, and garlic to your food processor and pulse until everything is chopped up. 

2. Add in the tomatoes and continue to pulse until the tomatoes break down and release their juices. 

3. Add in the honey, salt, 1/2 cup of cilantro leaves, and juice of half of a lime. Pulse in the food processor to reach your desired consistency. Taste and adjust flavorings of salt, honey, and lime juice as needed.
