Try making this light and refreshing orange sherbet!
2 cups fresh-squeezed orange juice
1 tablespoon orange zest
1 cup granulated white sugar
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
Mix orange juice, zest and 2/3 cup of sugar in a bowl.
Whip the heavy cream with a whisk or a hand mixer in another bowl until the cream is thick.
Stir milk into the orange mixture.
Mix the whipped cream into the orange mixture.
Refrigerate the sherbet for at least one hour and churn according to directions of your ice cream maker.2 cups fresh-squeezed orange juice.
