This crumble combines two famed fall fruits: persimmons and apples! The recipe is ready to bake in just 5 minutes, so it's a must-try dessert.
Ingredients
1 cup of persimmons, thinly sliced
1 cup of green apples, thinly sliced
1 teaspoon of sumac
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of cornstarch
1.8 cups (225 grams) of all-purpose flour
0.37 cups (30 grams) of oats
0.4 cups (80 grams) of raw sugar
5.29 ounces (150 grams) of butter
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 355.
2. Arrange persimmons and apple slices in a greased pie dish. Sprinkle with the sumac, cinnamon, and cornstarch.
3. Place the flour, oats, and sugar into a mixing bowl and stir. Melt the butter and add to the mix, then stir well until evenly mixed.
4. Press crumble mixture across the persimmon and apple slices into a 1-centimeter thick layer.
5. Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes until the crumble topping is golden brown. Slice into portions and serve immediately.
