Small and sweet, tart and juicy, apricots are a delicious fruit and member of the rose family. Since they are typically in season starting in spring and through the summer, they're a great treat to enjoy during the warmer months! Apricots are packed with vitamins A and C, as well as potassium, calcium, and iron. They make a lovely addition to desserts, and you can even throw them on the grill. Or, try your hand at homemade preservation so that you can enjoy them all year long!
Store at room temperature until ripe. Then, place in the refrigerator.
