Red swiss chard is a dark leafy green vegetable with a bitter taste. The stems of the vegetable are red, which is where it gets its name. Once cooked, the vegetable is quite similar to spinach. This power food contains three times the recommended amount of vitamin K.
Store in an unsealed plastic bag wrapped in a damp paper towel. Keep in the crisper drawer of your refrigerator.
