Description
Radishes are a bit of an outlier in the vegetable world, with some people turned off by their slightly bitter, peppery taste. However, radishes can add a burst of flavor to many dishes when used correctly! Sprinkle sliced, raw radish with salt and use them to top your next salad, or pickle them in vinegar, sugar, and salt for a crunchy, tangy topping. And, like almost all vegetables, radishes also taste great roasted. Instead of turning up your nose the next time you see a radish, take a chance on these little vegetables and you’ll be rewarded with a unique and versatile ingredient.
To store, remove the green tops and place them in a plastic bag in the refrigerator.
