Kimmy’s Krakkers, from Triple Green Jade Farm in the Adirondacks, are a delicious organic gourmet cracker that is a nutritious snack on the hiking trail and pairs perfectly with your favorite wine and cheese.
Dan and Kimmy Rivera are bringing an old farm back to life in the Adirondacks, and they’re doing it with good bread.
They built a wood-fired bread oven in their garage (now known as The Breadery) and sell hand-made, wild fermented artisan breads at farmers’ markets, local stores and restaurants.
Triple Green Jade Farm is made up of 80 acres of southerly facing pastures with a riverfront on the Boquet River. The silty, clay loam soils are well-suited for legumes and pasture grasses. As the Breadery expands, their next operation involves increasing the soil health of the pastures with a grass-based micro-dairy. They also have one of the first modern milking parlors to have been built in Essex County. They plan to graze Jersey cows and Icelandic sheep and make full use of their barn once restored.
