Through the years, we have upgraded our maple operation with new equipment. We now have a 3’ X 12’ pellet fired evaporator, the only one of its kind in the area. We have about 8 miles of tubing connecting our 2000 taps on a vacuum system with a reverse osmosis machine. We also installed a 20-panel solar array to make our own electricity. We still have some traditional buckets on the maple trees near the sugarhouse. It’s always fun for kids of all ages to see and hear the sap filling the buckets- one drop at a time!
