Warm Lemon Ginger Soother

This warming drink is perfect for these cold winter nights. If you've been having a dry, sore throat, this drink is for you. The honey is incredibly soothing for your throat, and the lemon and ginger will have you feeling better in no time!


Ingredients


1/4 cup of honey, or to taste 


1 lemon, juiced 


1 tablespoon of finely grated ginger root


1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon (optional) 


3 1/2 cups of boiling water 


Directions


1. Place honey, lemon juice, ginger, and cinnamon (if using) in a teapot or a 4-cup glass measuring beaker with a spout.


2. Pour the boiling water over the mixture and stir it well until the honey is dissolved.


3. Cover and let steep for 5 minutes.
